Venetian

Hi everybody!

I am planning to take cotaijet to Macau this Saturday. Plan to board the 10 am ferry. Is Venetian already alive when I reach there at about 11 am? I do not however plan to do shopping there. From there I would then plan to go to Macau peninsula to visit Senado Square , St Paul etc and catch ferry to Kowloon late in the evening. I would appreciate any advise on this proposed trip. Thanks!

Hi,

Yes, the Venetian should be awake by the time you arrive!

After you take the shuttle bus back to the main ferry terminal you have a couple of options. I think I remember you had another post asking about Fishermen%26#39;s Wharf, so fyi this is directly next door to the ferry terminal. Sands is next to FW, and between the two places, nearly hidden out on the main road, there is a convenient bus stop where you can catch any one of buses 3, 3A, 5, 10 or 10A which will take you to Senado Square. Macau buses accept either MOP or HKD. Of course you will have collected your free map from the tourism bureau (if you can%26#39;t find them at the Cotaijet ferry pier on arrival in Macau, you can definitely get one at the main ferry pier when you alight from the Venetian shuttle bus (ground floor, on the far left as you enter from the bus). This will allow you to devise your own walking tour around Macau depending on the time available and how comfortable your shoes are :-)

Thanks Ooisan! You are a great help!

Hi, most of the retail shops are open by 11.00am. The Festivita food court is opened by 8.00am. Can take the free Venetian shuttle bus from Venetian to the Sand Hotel. Then you can start your tour from Fisherman%26#39;s wharf , Senado Square etc, etc.Head towards the West Lobby in Venetian to board the free shuttle bus.
