possible to sleep on the Great Wall/Jinshanling?

Hi,

Does anyone know if sleeping / camping on the Great Wall at Jin Shan Ling is still possible? Most of the posts I%26#39;ve found are from 2007 and mention Sun Hai Long; I can%26#39;t find more recent info, however.

Why camping on the Great Wall? You see nothing in the night. Just spend one or two hours there will be ok to see the whole thing.

@killendons: have you ever been there?? Does not look like it,given the fact you refer to a website.

If you go to this part of the wall you have more interest in it then just a quick peek at the wall.

If you stay at the wall (or near) you can enjoy the real nice sun rise views.

You may stay at villager%26#39;s house at the foot of Great Wall if you go to Jin Shan Ling锛?or Si Ma Tai or Gu Bei Kou.

Hi,

It is possible to do camping on the Great Wall both Jinshanling and Simatai. There are lots of towers in which you can spread your tent flat out on the floor. Only one problem is that you have to take nice sleeping bag and tent. After all, it is so cold in the night.
