Beijing Hutong Inn or Zhong An Hotel?

My husband and I are trying to decide between these 2 hotels, but would love to hear recommendations for others with convenient locations. We are wanting to stay in the 200-225Y range. Which is the better choice?

have a look at Sha Tan hotel, which is located in the city centre. Its also in the price range. Good reviews too.

My husband and I stayed at the Beijing Zhong An Hotel last November/December and had an awesome experience there. It is near the railway station, but not too near. We had a room facing the inner courtyard and couldn%26#39;t hear any train noises. For the price we weren%26#39;t expecting much but the hotel was so cute and clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. From the hotel you can walk to the Ming city wall ruins park and the southeast watchtower. Also the hotel is so close to the subway and bus lines. We will stay at the hotel again on our next trip. Thanks for the responses. I like the Sha tan also, but it is more expensive than the other two. Now we have one vote for each! We need a tie breaker!

Gina, am actually in the same situation and was deciding from the same hotels. Beijing Zhong An Hotel does sound good and reviews are positive, my only concern was that taxi drivers could not find it and close to train station. Thats why i was thinking about the Sha Tan, but i am still un-decided yet!

Are you by any chance booking through expedia.com? as i think they have come back with the cheapest qoutes.

We find expedia usually higher than some websites. The best deals I%26#39;m locating are on booking.com, hostelbookers.com, and some of the lesser known small sites.
