Western District

I am staying at the Hotel Jen, 508 Queen%26#39;s Road West,

Western District in June.

Can anyone advise the best way to gt there from the airport and also is there anywhere good to eat in the area,(nothing too expensive)and anything to see nearby?.

Western District

Airport Express followed by shuttle bus or A10 airport bus.

Western District

If you take Airport Bus A12 ($45), get off at the first stop after the Western Harbour Tunnel. The stop is Ka On St at 345 Des Voeux Road West. Head west for two blocks and turn left at Hill Road. Walk one more block to Queen%26#39;s Road West and you should see the hotel. The distance on foot should be no more than 5 minutes.

Alternatively, take the Airport Express to Hong Kong station ($100 for a single ticket, group discount available for two or more travelers together) and connect on a taxi to the hotel ($25, plus $5 per piece of luggage).

Note that Hotel Jen does not have access to MTR subway nearby so you%26#39;d need to rely on buses or trams to go around even if you want to connect to MTR. The area is generally an older residential neighborhood so there are plenty of local eateries that are cheap.

Hong Kong is very compact with good public transportation access. I am a bit concerned that you seem to be coming with no idea on what you want to see. For what to see and do, visit the link below:

I stand corrected as A10 gets you a little closer at 484 Queen%26#39;s Road West.

Western district has a silk market, a department store and lots of local shops of various types. Not a lot else but you can get round very easily.
