Depending on where you%26#39;re from, you might find the ladies market a complete bore. In 10 hours you could probably go and have some decent food, get the view from the Peak, ride the Star Ferry, or even go to a museum if that is your wont. There is a crowd that organises Hong Kong tours for people who have a minimum of five hours available between flights. This is about the only time I would recommend doing this in Hong Kong as it%26#39;s not necessary for normal tourists. You might be able to Google something about them, or someone on the site is bound to have a name.

The Hong Kong story at the HK Museum of history is excellent - even more so if it is raining!

There are lots of markets you can visit if that is what you like doing.

thanks I have had a look around the web and the 3 things i would like to do in no paticular order and they are

victoria peak

a ride on the star ferry

ladies market

would it be possible to do all 3 in 10 hours? if it is can anyone give me the best route to take (what trains busses etc and what would be the best oreder to do it in) and what tickets I will need or is there 1 that will cover all transport

ps we have no mobillity probs so can move around pretty quick if that helps

many thanks

Get an octopus card at the airport for HK$150 (includes HK$50 deposit). Then catch A21 (HK$33) to Mongkok and visit ladies market.

Catch number 1, 2 or 6 (around HK$5) bus from Nathan Rd to Star ferry in Tsim Sha Tsui. Catch star ferry (around HK$2) across harbour to Central.

From Central you could walk to Peak Tram (HK$20) in Admiralty, or there is a bus, or you could take normal tram (HK$2) a couple of stops. Head up to the Peak. For a change catch number 15 bus (under HK$10) back down to Central.

Depending on time, you could catch airport express train back to airport from HK station, or catch the star ferry again back to TST, then A21 back to airport. Hand in your octopus card and get your deposit and remaining value back minus HK$7.

If you don%26#39;t know Hong kong that well than hire a day time tour guide. I did this for two day%26#39;s.

My guide was name joy she can be reached at joyrsuarez@yahoo.com She could meet you anywhere. You will cover HK to it%26#39;s fullest in your short time.

Regards

You only have 10 hours so I don%26#39;t think a tour guide will do you any good, especially since you know what your interests are. Drumbrake%26#39;s plan is excellent and I%26#39;d follow it. When you come back towards the airport, you could consider riding the Star Ferry again or be at either side of the harbour to enjoy the Symphony of Lights show at 20:00. You%26#39;d still have enough time to get back to the airport afterwards. If you are all checked-in, I suggest you be back to the airport no later than 21:15 to allow time for immigration, security and getting to your gate.

thanks I will go with that plan and hopefully I will fit it all in

many many thanks
