I am planning to visit Shanxi and hope to post my queries at the right place.
1) What is the best order to visit these places transport wise(higer bus frequency, better connections and schedules):
Taiyuan-Datong-Wutai Shan-Taiyuan
Or
Taiyuan-Wutai Shan-Datong- Taiyuan?
2)Is the first half of September still considered a high season in Wutai Shan (with more transport options) or a low one?
3) Do you know if visiting Great Wall section to the North of Datong (Desheng Bao)involves any fee?
4) Can Hanging Monastery near Datong be visited and photographed from outside without paying the entrance fee?
