View from The Peak at night vs Disneyland Fireworks

As i am going to stay in HK only for 1 day, should i go for the HK view or fireworks in Disneyland?

It is a personal thing - I am not big on fireworks and I never tire of the view from the Peak. However you could see the Peak view in daylight instead.

You can always head directly to the Peak after the fireworks since The Peak closes at midnight.

the disney fireworks is best seen inside the park, so you%26#39;ll have to shell out the entrance fee to see that. if you%26#39;re gonna be in hk for just one day, disney is NOT the way to experience hk.

go to the peak at night instead, or see the symphony of lights, and use the daytime to explore the many interesting flavors of hk.

I%26#39;d say it depends on the weather - in clear, or even slightly misty, weather, the view from the Peak is magical. Advice often given on these pages is to arrive there an hour or so before sundown, find your way out of the maze of shops at the bus or tram terminus, and walk around the Harlech / Lugard Road circuit clockwise, giving you views of green Hong Kong as well as the city.

If the Peak is fogged in, settle for fireworks or view the lightshow from the harbour front.

I wholeheartedly agree with oisaan. For the dozen or so times I%26#39;ve been on the Peak, day or night, I have NEVER seen it as clear as a bell. The view from there though is truly one of the world%26#39;s great sights. You CANNOT miss it -- unless it%26#39;s completely socked in with clouds / fog. The night time view at the Peak especially is magical.

The fireworks + laser lights over Victoria Harbour are also wonderful -- don%26#39;t miss them. Best viewed from Kowloon side in my opinion.

I think you should skip Disney. With just one day (referring to your other post previously), you should spend time seeing the city instead of a theme park.

Thanks everyone for the replies, i do really appreciate it, i think i will skip disney and heading to the peak. Hopefully during May the weather won%26#39;t be as foggy as winter. Ooisan and sammyflower , u guys really helped me a lot with Macau and HK info, thank heaps.

*oisaan and sammyfloyd* sorry for the typho
