the easier way but your time will be tied is take the sightseeing shuttle bus from shanghai sightseeing bus center at Gate 5 of Shanghai Stadium. 1.5 hours around to get to Zhouzhuang, I remember it%26#39;s 150RMB for around trip + entrance fee to Zhouzhuang. ( usually will be 9am or 9:15am leave from center then get back from Zhouzhuang at 4pm or 4:30pm)

Few questions:

1. How do I travel from Hyatt on the Bund to Shanghai South railway station? By cab? How long will that take? (I%26#39;m taking the train to Hangzhou)

2. How do I travel from Park Hyatt to Shanghai Stadium? By cab? HOw long will that take? (I%26#39;m taking the bus to ZHou Zhuang)

I will be splitting my stay in Shanghai between Hyatt on the Bund and Park Hyatt.

1. suggest take cab to Metro line 3, baoshan road station, then take metro go directly to Shanghai South Railway station

BTW Baoshan Road Station has two metron line, 3 and 4, pls take the train carefully, the one with the purple line is line 4.

2. you could choose to take cab directly from your hotel to Shanghai but I concern the traffic condition in the morning, if you travel there in the weekdays.

or take cab to Metro line 2, Jujiazui station, then take metro line 2 to People%26#39;s Square interchange line 1 to Shanghai indoor stadium stop then walk for 10 min.

i don%26#39;t like to take cab in the rush hour...hard to find available one and terrible traffic on the road.

rush hour here in the morning is from 7am to 9am

For (1), would it be better if i were to take a cab to Shanghai Railway station and then take the RED line to Shanghai SOuth station? Line 1 seems shorter than Line 3.

Sorry one other question. How long does it take on the metro from Baoshan to Shanghai South? Need to plan so that I can catch my train at 930am

you could try take cab to East nanjing road Subway line 2 (南京东路2号线地铁站,show this to the driver)

then take one stop to People%26#39;s Square to interchange line 1. Much better than take cab to Shanghai railway station. the station of line 2 is quite close to your hotel. At first i think you might not need to change metro lines. But if you take line 2 - 1 it will be faster than line 3. Just see the English sign when you go out of the line 2， it will show you where to go then interchange line 1 ( it%26#39;s quite clear by the English signs there)

Keep 1 hour for the trip from your hotel - Shanghai south Railway station.

I check from the website of sightseeing bus center the shuttle buses in Zhouzhuang is 9am at Hongkou stadium and 10am at Shanghai stadium.I will make a call to confirm later today.
