Huangshan Hotels and Hike

I%26#39;m planning a short trip to climb Mt Huangshan in April.

We%26#39;ll arrive at Tunxi aiport in the evening. Plan to stay in Tunxi town that night - maybe Express By Holiday Inn Huangshan at 168Y a night. Anything positive or negative to say about this choice?

Next day on to the mountain- probably via Taiping Cable Car and then hike West Sea Grand Canyon. Stay night on summit maybe at Xihai Hotel or Beihai Hotel.

Then walk down Western Steps the next day and perhaps stay one more night in Tunxi. Does this plan seem ok so far?

We will still have 2 full days in the area, before flying from Hangzhou to Shenzhen on the third day probably in the evening. Probably see one or two of the villages in the area - maybe Nanping and Hongcun. This part is still just a plan.

As u go up by the taiping cable car, and then to the west sea (xihia) secenic area, the logical hotel appears to be baiyun hotel or the new 2008 tianhai hotel, which are located at the southern exit of the xihai hike. Then, u can proceed to the western steps to descend.
