Beijing Macau Help please!

I am going to fly from Kuala Lumpur in Mid September 2009.

My plan is to go Beijing, then head to Macau .. and fly back to Kuala Lumpur.

I can get a AIR ASIA from Kuala Lumpur to TianJing (beijing) or Kuala Lumpur to Macau. But we want to visit Beijing.. Can you tell me the cheapest flight to go Beijing from Macau or cheapest flight from Beijing to Macau?

Do some research. Check websites like kayak.com or ctrip.com

Consider flying from Beijing to Zhuhai instead as the prices could be cheaper.

We are flying KL to Tianjin in July with Air Asia. Best info I can get is to get flight from Beijing to Shenzhen or Zhuhai and make way to Macau from there. These domestic flights are a lot cheaper than flying direct to Hong Kong or Macau.

At present it costs about 970 RMB to fly from Zhuhai to Beijing one way. I expect this is a lot cheaper than an ';international'; flight from Macau. In fact elong is quoting 1740 RMB!!

Above is correct.

The cheapest way is that take by train T97B (12:47--13:10) from Beijing to Kowloon of Hong Kong (2475km) lasting about 24 hours 23 minutes and then go into Macau.

Another cheapest way is that take flight from Beijing to Guangzhou or Shenzhen or Zhuhai and then transfer by train or boat or bus into Macau.

Why don%26#39;t you search China flights in Google to compare the prices of each company? Sometimes you will get discount when you find the right one!

Just sear your flights here:

Definitely you will save money by crossing the Macau-mainland border overland (or by ferry) and then flying from Zhuhai, Shenzhen or Guangzhou. Three popular and reliable companies for online bookings are elong, ctrip and travelzen.

Note that domestic Chinese airline timetables are not usually finalised until a month or even a couple of weeks beforehand, and the best bargains are to be had 10 days to a week before you fly. There is massive overcapacity on popular routes, so no problem at all getting seats at such a late stage.
