Hi all,
Going on an impromptu 8-days trip to Shanghai next week with a friend. Hence, the urgent need to determine my accomodation soon.
Can anyone kindly advise on the following hotels or recommend some alternatives based on location(near bund?), accessibility (near metro?) and price(budget: ~ s$140,600rmb)?
1) Lexington Plaza Mingde
2) Astor House
(Seems to have some negative reviews on the service)
3) Manhattan Bund Business Hotel (Read from a review that it is located along some side road which might be dark during the night?)
4) Seagull on the Bund
Looking forward to any replies.
Thanks alot!

Dont know the others but the Regal on Hengshan Rd is a nice hotel and right near the Hengshan rd metro stop on line 1
Hello!
Lexington Plaza Mingde is a new hotel, which is near to the No.8 metro station. It will take you ten minutes to get to Peopel%26#39;s square by metro. The hotel%26#39;s facilities looks good.
I looked around in this hotel last month. It is quite new and looks like a five star hotel, but not very expensive.
The JinJiang on Maoming is nicely located about 7-10 min walk from Shaanxi South Road Station on line 1. It has a revolving restaurant on top from where you have a nice view over the city while having breakfast. The rooms are a bit old however.
hi steo, i recommend JinJiang Hotel, it a very good hotel.
Hi All
Thanks for your advice.
However, booked DongHu Hotel instead due to recommendation by my friend and it fits budget.
Hope it will be a good decision. =)
