I would appreciate any advice on

1) What is the best way of getting from Sanjiang to Ping鈥檃n ? Is it better to change buses in Longsheng or go to Heping and change there?

2) Is it easy to carry a bag on wheels from where the bus drops me to the center of Ping鈥檃n village? How are the roads there? I don鈥檛 want to use anybody鈥檚 help and will look for accommodation myself.

3) What other villages besides Ping鈥檃n in the area offer a good choice of inexpensive accommodation?

4) For how long is the entrance ticket to Longji Titian valid? Is there another fee to pay in case of trekking from Ping鈥檃n to Dazhai? Is there any bus from Ping鈥檃n t Dazhai?

5) What kind of landscape am I going to see at the end of October at Longji terraces? Will the rice already be harvested or left in the fields?

1) take by public bus or hire a car is the best way from Sanjiang to Ping%26#39;an. Yes. it is easy for you to change bus in Longsheng County.

2) yes. it is easy to the center of Ping%26#39;an village but difficult to Longji Terrace Field on wheels.

3) There is NO inexpensive accommodation in Ping%26#39;an village and other places besides Ping%26#39;an. You can bargain the price staying family home.

4)RMB 50 for the entrance ticket to Longji Titian.

5) at the end of October the rice have been harvested and left only fields. so that is NOT the best time to Longji.

1. by local public bus or by cab from Sanjiang to Pingan village, take bus from 涓夋睙---妗傛灄 and change bus at Heping,not Longsheng.

2. It is very hard for you to carry a bag on wheels( you can not do this due to the stone stair path)

3. You should stay in Pingan village, the hotel in Pingan is cheap, the other village is very far from Pingan.

4. It is 50 yuan and you have to pay it.
