I%26#39;m going on a 2-week tour of Beijing/Xian/Yangtse River/Shanghai. I%26#39;ll need a cell phone mainly to communicate with my office in the USA. What%26#39;s the best way to do this?

You can possibly use you phone from the US but it will be expensive to roam. Check with you service provider if you can roam in China. Alternatively you can buy a SIM card when you arrive in China (assuming that you have a GSM phone and that it is unlocked).
