Elong and international mobile numbers

Hello,

I was trying to book a flight from Beijing to Xian with Elong, but I%26#39;m having a blocking problem.

Elong%26#39;s booking page is asking me for a mobile number, which I%26#39;ve tried to enter several times in several formats... but all the time it tells me that the format is incorrect...

I%26#39;m using my italian mobile number, with or without international code (Italy is 0039)... if I use international code the input field does not even have enough space for all the numbers...

Anyone out there having the same problem ?

They are a pain aren%26#39;t they. Will you require you to fax creditcard and passport details as well?

There are other companies - www.travelzen.com and www.ctripcom - the price is the same. If one causes trouble, try another.

Travelzen doesn%26#39;t charge a surcharge for international credit cards either.

I have used elong before, and I have given then a Hong Kong number and they have phoned me up soon after booking with a question. Therefore, while they can contact you by email, I%26#39;d hesitate in making up a number - that said I just tried to make a booking and it wouldn%26#39;t accept any of the telephone numbers I tried to enter!

At the moment I just use elong to check prices - I find their display more user friendly. Then I book with travelzen.
